Shachariel: -changes from his pajamas into his combat attire, he then adds his armor and fixes his swords in their crossed sheathes at his back, buckles on an ammo belt before unpacking a massive Indigo cloak that he puts on over everything- It's for dramatic effect, and woven with dust in the thread. A little something extra in case I need more power.

Morrigan: -heads to the locker room after Ereshisu and goes into a cubicle. She changes into her black feathered dress, attatches the hood to the neckline and arranged her wings so they look like a cape before sliding her wand into its "sheath" at her waist and braiding her hair. She puts on her circlet to keep her bangs out of her face then puts on black armored high heel boots instead of her usual 'witch' high heels, then she walks back out to her friends- Good morning everyone, ready for innitiation?

Blohdgarm: Heck yeah, let's go. *he leads the group towards the entrence of the Ballroom as Ozpin and Glynda appear*

Ereshisu: Yeah i'm ready let's go.*follows Blohdgarm*

Ozpin: Alright everyone please follow me and Glynda *he leads the group of students to a cliff*

Ozpin: All of you, take your positions on the squares at the ground here. -indicates metal squares with the Beacon Academy crest on them, waits for everyone to take their places before speaking again-

Shachariel: -takes a place on a square next to Blohdgarm- this should be fun.

Glynda: -pulls Morrigan and a few other students aside, some of which are clearly Faunus- This group, come with me for a moment. -they walk off to a different part of the cliff out of the field of view of everyone else-

Morrigan: -casts a quick and invisible pulse of dust and aura towards all of her friends, it only reaches Ereshisu, quietly- Now I'll be able to find at least one of them. -walks off with Glynda and the others, noting that they are all indeed Faunus-

~a similar area is set up but further down the cliff face with multiple paths laid out instead of simple platforms~

Glynda: As I'm sure you've all figured out, everyone gathered in this group is a faunus.

-several shouts about segregation go up-

Glynda: We are not segregating you based on race. The first part of this innitiation requires new students to be sent into the forest below Beacon Cliffs. Human students are launched from the top of the cliff and must figure out a way to land without getting themselves killed. Many of you would have an advantage in this so your approach is different. There are paths based on the improved skills several of you have. The feather is for those of you capable of flight. The waves, aquatic skill. The cave symbol is for those of you who are neither aquatic of avian. Each pathway takes you to a course that will test your skills, much like the humans and their landing strategies. Once in the forest, you must partner up with the first person you make eye contact with, human or faunus. Your objective is to reach a forest temple at the western end of the forest and retrieve a relic then take the path behind that particular relic back to the cliffs. You will be graded the whole time but instructors will not intervene should your lives be threatened.

Morrigan: -takes her place by the feather with a very small group of other faunus-

Glynda: BEGIN! -each symbol slides open, revealing a pathway that is dark, the cave path gradually declines into the earth, the wave path is a water slide down into a deeper body, and the feather path simply drops straight down into a cave system-

Morrigan: -alters her falling path and accelerates ahead of the other flight capable faunus, the path widens out into a massive cave which is completely dark, snaps her wings open and spirals around rock formations to avoid crashing and burning- Alright, this is a test, flying in a cave, in a confined space... I can't see. -takes a deep breath and draws her wand, casting a flare like spell that allows her to see but reveals that the floor of the cave is covered in Deathstalkers- Okay, so no light. -changes the mechanics of the spell so a thin trail of blue luminescent dust shows her the pathway out and the most efficient way to get there, dodges formations and Grimm the whole time before landing on a shelf that leads outside right at the treeline of the forest- I made it. -folds wings into a cape form again and leaps into a tree, waiting for the others to get through their landing strategies-

Ozpin: For this innitiation excercise, you will all be sent down into the forests below. You must come up with your own landing strategy to survive the fall into the forest. Once there, the first person you make eye contact with will become your partner. As a pair, you will go to the temple at the western end of the forest and take a relic located there. Then, you take the path behind that relic back to the cliffs. The entire durration of the excercise will be graded and observed but instructors will not step in, even if your life is in danger so be prepared to fight. You and your partner will remain together for the remainder of your time at Beacon so choose wisely. Now, any questions?

-Jaune like question about landing strategies and the fall into the forest-

Ozpin: You will be launched from this cliff into the forest, come up with your own strategy to land safely and without injury. Now, good luck!

-the launch pads begin launching sporadically, Ereshisu, Shachariel, and Blohdgarm all launch at different times-

Blohdgarm: *launches into the air and unfolds scythe while in the air and draws back the bolt revealing dust imbued ammo. He lets the slide close and he then fires the shot and accelerates even faster he then uses a couple a trees to create a smooth landing. As he lands on the ground he closes his eyes and tries to notice anyone around him but he only notices Grimm.* ahhh fun *moves towards the Grimm and starts obliterating them*

Ereshisu: *draws sword before launching and aims towards a tree. She slashes through a couple of trees and then plows through a whole line of tree to land. She lands with her sword backwards in her hand and landed like she is about to start a race. She notices someone perched upon the tree and believes it is Morrigan...* Morrigan, that would be a good partner *she moves towards the figure but is ambushed by Grimm* Guhh i do not have time for this... *Yells REALLY loudly* SWORD OF RELICS!!!!! *A GIANT sword falls out of nowhere seeming to be made from dust. The sword pierces the earth and then bursts apart and destroys all the Grimm near her. It also obliterates near by trees. She then collapses while she is still holding her sword. she then deploys some Dust from the end of her Sword's pommel she obsorbs a bit of the dust and then gets back up looking really tired. She absorbs the rest of the dust completely rejuvinated.* Should not have used that, atleast i know how much it takes out of me. *she looks towards we she saw morrigan and still sees a figure on the tree but now only walks towards the figure now.*

Shachariel: -parts his cloack, drawing his swords from their place at his back and combining them into the flamethrower form of his rifle but augmented with power from his cape, creating a massive jet of flames that slows his fall and allows him to land gently on the ground, his cloak heavily singed- Crap, I knew that would be stupid but my aura doesn't work for propulsion so taking dust from the cloak to my body was the only way to do that right. -looks at the burn scar he left as he fell- Oops. -turns again at the sound of Ursas growling, two come barreling out of the trees and attempt to tackle him, they seemingly succeed but all that is left between them is his cloak- Looking for me? -an unbearable light shines from a boulder at the edge of the clearing, within the light, Shachariel's gun is now swords-

-The Ursi cower because of the light-

Shachariel: -vaults from the rock, swords in hand and decapatates both Ursi, their corpses instantly burst into flame and reduce to ash in seconds, the light extinguishes as the bodies vanish- Hopefully that was enough of a signal to get Blohdgarm's or Ereshisu's or Morrigan's attention. I don't really trust anyone else... -turns at the sound of heavy caliber sniper fire and scythe noises- Oh, that must be Blohdgarm. -rushes that way and pulls the same stunt, illuminating brightly (but only at the spectrum that blinds Grimm) Hey, need a hand? -transforms his swords back to a rifle and switches to incendiary rounds, firing them at the Grimm farthest from Blohdgarm-

Morrigan: -watches the destruction Ereshisu wroughts- Woah. -blasted back a bit by the shockwave, flips once and snaps open her wings in instinct, watches her fall down andflies up to Ereshisu to make sure she's alright- Hey, hey! Are you okay? That was incredible but you shouldn't over tax yourself like that. -lands, her wings still billowing behind her-

Blohdgarm: Yeah help would be nice *smirks and then spins his scythe around him rather fast. He starts firing shots at certain angles flinging him around the area destroying Grimm left and right. as his mag runs out he stops pulls out the mag and switches it out with a normal calibar mag. He then continues to slash and shoot until all of the Grimm are dead. Afterwords many shells drop to the ground.* well that was fun makes eye contact with Shachariel* guess we're partners now, sounds good to me.

Ereshisu: Yeah *breathes heavily even though used dust to recouperate* i'm good *looks at Morrigan straight into her eyes then notices her wings* You're a Faunus huh? not surprising, but cool. So where should we go?

Shachariel: -dispatches the last of the grimm with his swords, their corpses incinerating, swings his swords once to get the blood off and then re sheaths them- Yep, it looks like we're partners. So, west to the temple?

Morrigan: -realizes her wings are spread- OH! Nobody was supposed to know about that, aaaaaauuuugh! -hears the rest of Ereshisu's comments- Oh, you aren't surprised? you aren't going to treat me like some kind of monster? This is new. This is a first. This hasn't ever happened before. -collects herself by taking a deep breath- Well, our goal is the forest temple. We can just walk west and hope we find it but I have a better idea. -takes out her wand and uses the same dust and aura spell as in the cave, though the dust is brighter now (-cough cough- Clairvoyance in Skyrim anyone?)- Just follow the trail and we'll get there quick. I'm sure there are more Grimm where those came from though, and that giant explosion is probably going to attract more.

Ozpin and Glynda: -watch the big ass explosion in the forest from Ereshisu's attack-

Glynda: I knew the Seighart's were known for being heavy handed, but that was ridiculous.

Ozpin: -sips his coffee while checking surveilance on his scroll- Well, there's the last pair. Shachariel Apollyon and Blohdgarm Nightwing. 

Glynda: This should be interesting. -checks her own school- Miss Orwen and Miss Seighart are a team and it appears that Miss Orwen's identity has been compromised.

Ozpin: -sips his coffee again- I'm not worried, Ereshisu is an open minded girl.

Blohdgarm: Alright *points towards the general direction of West* That way lets go *he leads them through the forest then sees a King Taijitu* Hey wanna try and ride that west? *he moves towards one and jumps on its head and starts taming it by slapping it's head repeatadly with his scythe not the sharp point* 

Ereshisu: Nah not surprised, a lot of weird things happens where i live so it's nothing all that different. Besides, I think Faunus are rather cool actually. I think. *sees the path of light* alright let's go *starts following the path with her sword out she is running at a speed so Morrigan can keep up. They then run into a giant scorpion, a Death Stalker.* oh shit... *as a strike comes at her, her Claymore comes apart and turns into a sword and shield combo. She blocks the strike and then shield checks the Scorpion rather hard, so hard that the scorpion gets blown back* We need to move Morrigan, NOW *she knocks the scorpion back again and knocks it onto it's back she then leads Morrigan back on the trail* 

Shachariel: That's certainly an unorthodox way of dealing with Grimm. -jumps to the snake's other head and uses a different taming process, blinding it with aura focussed through his body and relaxing it with intense light in the form of heat from his hands- That head will lead now and this one will follow, lets get going before the back wakes up.

Morrigan: -dodges a claw attack as the Deathstalker rushes forward- I'd really rather this thing not follow us all the way to the temple but I think running is best now, especially since you're a bit overtaxed. -handsprings away from the creature and lands softly next to Ereshisu, staying close- You can speed up, I'm fast and I have twice the lung capacity of normal humans. That's one of the bright sides of being part bird. -matches Ereshisu's stride and stays next to her, casting branches and undergrowth out of their way with simple spells to prevent tripping- 

Blohdagrm: *tames the Snake enough to ride it west* HELLLL YEAHHH *the snake starts making its way west* Well unorthodox or not it will work for now.

Ereshisu: Alright *more dust comes from the sword pommel and she flings it backwards towards the Deathstalker. She then absorbs some energy from some of the Dust she releases and looks even more rejuvinated this is risky but lets go *Her right foot digs into the ground rather hard and then she speeds ahead while Morrigan is matching her pace after a bit she slows down so she doesn't tire herself to much.* alright how much farther Morrigan?

Shachariel: It does work, and its fun. We should travel like this more often if King Taijitu weren't grimms that wanted to kill and eat us. But in the meantime, YEEEEE HAAAAAAAAW (cough, cough. UK Els).

Morrigan: Just about twenty more feet. The temple should be on the other side of this line of trees-

(just saying, the temple is in a sinkhole so there's gonna be a big fall here. Morrigan can help with this)

Blohdgarm: *sees a pit* ummm what should we do about that????? *he points towards the pit that the King Taijitu is now racing towards. It then plunges into the sinkhole, Blohdgarm then tackles Shachariel off the King Taijitu and also slices the other head in half.* Now then where is the temple??

Ereshisu: Ok *sees a King Taijitu go into a giant pit* What is going on? *notices that the path ends there* so is this where the temple is?? 

Shachariel: -rolls to avoid getting a rock to the head, when he stands he sees a parthenon structure built out of a cave wall- I think it's over there. -points to the parthenon

Morrigan: It's too steep for us to climb down, I'll have to carry you. Don't worry, I can do it. Just don't freak out about the consequences of my doing so. -pulls out her wand, the dust on the tip becoming black as her feathers, a Triskellion appears on Morrigan's back and her hair suddenly becomes much shorter, her dress becoming armor, and her wand a two handed sword- Now, grab my waist and hang on tight. -her voice is different somehow- Whatever you do, don't let go. -spreads her wings which now appear much larger and stronger, as if she has aged into her late twenties or early thirties-

Blohdagrm: That over there? ok *starts walking towards the Partheon and doesn;t notice Ereshisu and Morrigan*

Ereshisu: woahhh, alright *hangs onto Morrigan's waist and makes sure she is hanging on tight*

Shachariel: -follows close behind, watching behind them in case more Grimm show up-

Morrigan/Babd: -goes airborn in on flap of her mighty wings, kicking up a mighty storm and sending a resounding concussion through the sinkhole- Hopefully we don't attract too many more Grimms. -slowly descends into the sinkhole, stopping above the ground just high enough for Ereshisu to jump down- Now, you should be safe to drop down from here. I'll land as soon as you're safe.

Blohdgarm: *enters the parthenon* ummm where are the things we are supposed to find? because i don't see anything but carvings.

Ereshisu: *Drops down and lands then does a roll to break the force of the landing a bit. She then ppuls out her sword just incase monsters attack and there so happens to be a King Taijitu there! She swings her sword once to deflect the Taijitu's attack then slices it in half with her second strike* Ok I think we're good now. *looks around.* so where are the thinsg we are supposed to find?

Shachariel: -notices that there are carved tablets on the walls but some are missing- We need to take those. The only ones left are two with a feather mark on them. I guess we take those.

Morrigan/Babd: -lands and fades back to her normal form and outfit- There's a temple over there. -points to the parthenon structure where the trail of blue ends- Our goal is there. -rushes towards it-

Blohdgarm: *Grabs one of the Tablets with a feather on it* welp i guess we might as well head back *just then Morrigan and Ereshisu rush in and take the other tablet* Oh hey so you two made it here as well, that's good.

Ereshisu: *rushes in and grabs the other tablet then notices Blohdgarm* oh hey and yeah we made it here rather quickly thanks to morrigan *smiles at morrigan* anyways we should head back let's go. 

*as the party gets out of the parthenon and back up the pit they find a DeathStalker waiting for them*

(actually the western path is from within the temple but I can fix it to be outside the temple if we go back into the pit)

Morrigan: Well hello there beasty, I thought we lost you in the forest. -brandishes her wand, a gray dust gathering in the tip which creates clouds above that darken the area, the wind picks up and thunder rumbles above- Everyone let me concentrate, if I lose control of this we're all dead. I can sense more Grimm in the distance, well, not so much sense... Hear and see.

Shachariel: That would imply that your senses are better than ours, I can see nor hear nothing more than the Deathstalker and the storm. -draws his weapons- I'll provide cover fire for now but you better explain this later. -combines the swords into a rifle and goes to flamethrower mode, spewing flames at the Deathstalker to keep it back for a while-

Blohdgarm: *closes eyes for a tad* she's right there are definitely more Grimm approaching, alright protect Morrigan from the attacks of the Death Stalker until she can complete what she needs to *pulls out scythe in sniper format and starts shooting at weakpoints in the Death Stalkers armor when his mag runs out he reloads and then changes his HCSS to scythe form and starts slashing at anyweak points he can find*

Ereshsu: *takes her sword off her back and starts hammering at the Death Stalkers armored areas to weapon them. she then jumps back and flies forward towards the DeathStalker and lodges her sword in it. It slaps Ereshisu away and she flies back does a back flip and lands. Her sword still jammed in the Death Stalker* well this is annoying *braclets on her wrists release red Dust, it then turns into fire on her hand she jump up and throws fire at the Scorpion. She then gets close enough to grab her sword. As she pulls it out she turns it into sword and sheild form. She Bashes it Hard enough to knock it back and make it mad, at it tries to scissor her she blocks both of the claws with her sheild on one side and her sword on the other* Whatever you are going to do morrigan do it fast! *She plunges the tip of sword into the gorund for leverage and takes a heavy stance to hold the scorpion at bay*
